What sort of submissions are you looking for?
We’re always glad to receive artist's submissions for cute, contemporary, humorous, fine art, photographic, traditional and children’s cards.
We’re also happy to accept copywriter's submissions for humourous and traditional cards.
We make cards for just about every occasion from “New Baby” to “With Sympathy”, for all the “milestone” birthdays and for all the family. And of course, we also make cards for Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Valentine's Day.

How do I submit samples of artwork?
Please do not send us original artwork. We are delighted to receive good quality colour
photocopies, photographs or computer printouts as well as digital submissions (jpegs are fine) on CD-ROM. You can send us a selection of up to a dozen samples to:
Submissions
Paper House
Waterwells Drive
Gloucester GL2 2PH
United Kingdom
Your submission will be reviewed by the Creative team and we will decide whether it is suitable for publication, or if your style might make you suitable for future commissions.
Please include a suitable stamped addressed envelope (remember the new postal rates!) with your submission so we can return your artwork to you.
Alternatively, you can send us your digital samples by email - submissions@paperhouse.co.uk

How do I submit humour ideas?
You don’t need to draw great cartoons, if you’ve written a joke that you think would be good on a greetings card just write it down (perhaps with a thumbnail sketch or even a written description of the picture) on a folded sheet of paper, put the punchline inside and send it in. If you can draw great cartoons then send them in too! You can also send us computer printouts as well as jpeg images on CD-ROM.

How do I submit copy or verses?
You can send us your copy or verses typed on an A4 sheet. Remember to tell us what sort of
card they’re for - is it a “Happy Birthday Mum” card or an “On Your Retirement” card?
